Vow Renewal | Paola and Brian

A couple of weekends ago I had the absolute pleasure to be asked to capture the beautiful heartfelt vow renewal of Paola and Brian in the Trexler Nature Preserve

There was so much love and devotion that went into this celebration, including friends and family who traveled far and wide to be witness to their limitless love and commitment renewed. Some of those in attendance were Paola’s grandmother from the Dominican Republic and her childhood pastor. Of all of the special touches my favorite was the washing of the feet, which symbolizes devotion to one another.

After the ceremony we took a few minutes to grab portraits of those in attendance along with their kids and some of just Paola and Brian together. All I can say is Holy Wow! The Location, The Light, The Company equals a photographers dream!!!!

We then headed back to a little reception with the most amazing traditional Dominican food. I’ve never eaten so well at a event!!

What I noticed was this was a celebration of life, devotion and the love and connection of both family and friends. We should all be so lucky to have such a solid base to grow the root of our family tree from.
